What to Expect

At Criner Construction Company we are very straightforward with our process, so you'll get quality service instead of surprises.

During your first phone conversation with us we will fill out a "lead sheet". The lead sheet contains standard information such as your name, address, a phone number and a little bit about the proposed project.

The lead sheet is then passed to Robert Criner. He will contact you to discuss the project and set a date and time for a site visit. During the site visit Robert may give you many ideas and suggestions and a "ballpark" estimate for the project, this is the part of our service that is free. If you would like us to proceed with any of the following--3D-computer modeling, designs, specifications and a formal estimate--we would require you to sign a Design Agreement. This form entitles us to payment for design work (the minimum charge is specified on the design agreement, and the maximum charge is 2% of the contract price. The 2% is credited to the value of the contract if the contract is signed.)

Over the next few weeks, preliminary drawings of your project and a budgetary estimate may be done. An in-office meeting should be held to view the 3D-computer modeling, designs and specifications and to make changes if needed. A second meeting may take place to review the final specification list and to sign the contract. After the contract is signed your project will be placed on our schedule for construction. All jobs are on a "first come, first served" basis.
